Bespoke / Made to Measure Bookcases
I can design, make and fit a bookcase to suit any room from the fluted, corniced details of a Regency town house to the more simple contemporary lines of the example shown here.
This one, which can be seen below in the "raw" with its secret door opening is made from 6mm, 18mm and 25mm MDF I supply them in the raw to be decorated.
I can also make made to measure bookcases in veneered MDF or solid timber.

This bookcase has 25mm adjustable shelves above three one metre cupboards with a single shelf inside.

Two bookcases in 18mm MDF with 25mm shelves (the green MDF is moisture resistant). Due to an un even floor (in a newbuild home) these had to be scribed to the floor.
This as you can see was a bookcase designed to fit around an existing window all in 18mm MDF apart from the shelves which are 25mm and adjustable.
The cornice cut around the existing coving and electrical and data sockets cut into the back at low level.
Work in progress on this three bay full height bookcase with cupboards underneath.
The back in 6mm pressed MDF to give the look of tongue and groove panneling.
The front to have "Art Deco" style lighting hence the cables showing.
